My way of self-soothing is to organize and decorate.
The girls were leaving...one week to go. Vicki was bummed.
So I got Haley to help me paint her room..."So it will look
fresh and clean when you come home." And that led to sewing
pillows...and covering chairs and bedding and re-framing things.
And then after-all, it was not fair for Kenz...
so we needed to jazz up her room too.
I still didn't feel better.
Then we left for Utah, and had to decorate their apartment.
(Haley is breaking Kenz in this summer term.
Isn't that sweet? Then they split up for fall)
So we decorated and organized all weekend
and now I am home...
alone.
I think I better start working on my room,
Maybe that will make me feel better..?

such cute rooms! shame they are empty. how bout when my children are driving me crazy i come there and stay? looks like a great escape! ;)
Oh my gosh!!! Their rooms are so darling at home! I wouldn't have wanted to leave. Totally looks straight out of a catalog.

The rooms are darling, just like the little mama in the empty nest who is a bit out of sorts:) Trust me, it gets easier and they come back home for visits...and longer! You also will be traveling for visits and new adventures await you and the good Doctor. Let's plan a play date or a remodel soon~

Haley & Kenzie's rooms were already DARLING and now they are even MORE darling! How do you do it?! Your eye for decorating is amazing!
